Welcome Pineapple

Welcome back! I am SO ecstatic for today's project! It is one of those cards that is way too pretty to send. I literally had to pry it out of my own hands at the post office! Ha! But it was made especially for my downline's new downline. :) With Kristy's promotion I mentioned the other day came her very first downline! Of course, I wanted her to feel warm & welcomed, so she got a special card featuring none other than..drum roll..pineapples! Surprise, surprise, right!? Well you know how I love pineapples, and being that the are the symbol for hospitality, I thought that would be perfect for a "welcome to my team" card.

I cased the layout of this card from Stampin' Up!. However, the final product looks nothing like the original. I used a stunning color combo of Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sky, and Mint Macaron, with accents of Gold. I love how it turned out with all of the gold metalic touches, The fabulous gold metallic gold stitching was done with a sewing machine using thread from my great grandmother's stash! #superspecial I'm sad to say that I'm just about out of it, so I'll have to track down more. The sweet little sentiment is from the Live, Love, Grow set, and the pineapple from the super popular Pop of Paradise. I love how everything turned out with this card, and hope the recipient loves it as much as I do! Now is a great time to get these two sets. Remember the Bonus Days are going on now!
