For a Grad & A Sad Goodbye

Hello there! It seems like I have much to catch up on, but if you follow me on Instagram, you know I've been everywhere! Last week, Lovely & I took an anniversary trip to Las Vegas, and had an absolute blast together, which we always do. :) This week, we've both been paying for the fun with colds and mounds of laundry and mile long to do lists, but TOTALLY worth it! :) On my to do list this week is to go through my Stampin' Up! products, and figure out what is staying and what is going. What on earth am I talking about? This year's retiring product list. You can view the list here. You'll want to scoop up your favorites from my online store before they are gone!

I started going through my goodies today... As you can see, my accessories tray is completely empty. This is the saddest, most exciting time of the year for me. So sad to see so many great favorite products go, yet so excited for the promise of great new pretties! I can't wait to fill this tray back up with new beautiful bits & baubles. For now, I'm continuing to use up what I have, and rush to get in as much stamp time with my favorite "disappearing" stamps before they are gone for good.
One of those is the Larger Than Life Alphabet & numbers set. I could LITERALLY cry over this set. The size, the font, it's all so perfect for scrapbooking, card making, even for gift wrapping. So for now, I'm using it like crazy. Today I'm sharing what just might be my favorite project EVER using this great set, a fun card or two for a 2016 grad. Take a look!

Is that not SO fun!!?!? The big, bold, gold embossing paired with the black & white color palette are to die for! I added a little more pop with a couple of other retiring products (that I could also literally flail about and scream & cry over), a "2016" with the Alphabet Rotary Stamp & a little fun with the Gold Metallic Baker's Twine. The 3/4" Circle Punch is the perfect size for this little accent. I created a fun pleated accent with the Gold Ribbon and Tear & Tape, really simple, but so pretty! I loved this card so much, I created another with a similar concept. It's using some old bits, but it's a little simpler than the first. I love how they both turned out, and am still so, so sad to see this set go. However, graduation cards are the perfect way to get a little more juice out of this big, bold alphabet!

Don't forget to scoop up your favorite products before they are gone.
