Hello my friends!!! I am SO excited to be back to creating & sharing. I took a long, unintentional hiatus, but I'm back ready to take on more creating! I'd like to say the past couple of months that I've just been creating away in my time off, but that's not the case. Only last weekend did I open my box of goodies from the 2016 Occasions & Sale-A-Bration catalogs. I know, bummer. But when I finally sat down to create, it was as if I'd never left. The creative juices were flowing! So, here I am, and just in time, I have a Valentine card to share.
When I sat down to create, I knew I wanted to come up with a Valentine card. Oddly enough, the new "Number of Years" birthday bundle stuck out to me. From there, the card took flight! Take a look.
This frilly card is packed with layers! I started out with my base layers, then added on the strip across. From there, I just began packing on the frills! The "14" layered over vellum with the "Happy Valentine's Day" banner is just perfect. I used the Love Blossoms Emellishment Kit to add some oomph, along with pearls and a doily.
I just love how the numbers turned out! I love using products for things other than the intended purpose-more bang for your buck! When I added the banner, I felt like it needed a little something more so I added the gold sequins to draw out the gold on the bow paper clip, as well as tiny pearls in the center to bring out the pearl trimming. I love how it turned out! Have you created any special Valentine's this year?
Check out my supply list below. Don't forget it i Sale-A-Bration!! For every $50 you spend, you get a free gift! Spend $150, get 3! Can't beat that! :) See you back soon!
