Watercolored Winter Wonderland

Hey there! I'm so excited to share today's card with you. It is SO much fun, and I really love how it turned out. I used a few things from the Winter Wonderland Suite in the Holiday Catalog as well as some watercoloring & glitter. Super fun!

For my card I used Always Artichoke & Basic Black for my colors, accenting with gold. I started with a base of those then began building the fun parts! I started by stamping the evergreen trees from the Wonderland stamp set in Always Artichoke on Watercolor Paper. Next, I used my Aqua Painter to give the trees a watercolor look. I used lots of waters towards the bottom, allowing the trees to "bleed" & flow. After that dried (I sped things up with my Heat Tool), I stamped the "Silent Night" with Momento Ink.

From there, I added a fun glittery "splatter" over the trees using Multipurpose Adhesive Glue, the Aqua Painter, and Gold Stampin' Glitter. I love the way this look turned out! I topped things off with a Gold Foil Flag, a Snowflake Element, and Gold Cording. This little extra bit just really finished things off with a great look!

I love this watercolor look, and can't wait to try it again. There are so many stamp sets this would work great with. And the gold, of course I'm smitten! :) Thank you so much for stopping in today.
