Friday already! I have a majorly busy weekend planned, but everything on the calendar is F-U-N!! Follow along on Instagram to catch all the action! Do you have anything exciting planned? Or a weekend in? I'm looking forward to a weekend of nothingness, soon. Perhaps while I'm off for the Christmas holidays I'll spend some time on the couch⌐my neglected TV shows are calling my name! Anyhow, speaking of fun weekends, last weekend my dad and brothers came down for us to celebrate my dad's 50th birthday! It was really a treat because it was the first time we were all four together in one place in probably over 3 years! I wasted no time documenting our fun⌐we went to lunch, the Dr. Pepper Museum, and Texas Rangers Hall of Fame and Museum.
I decided to use a Fall layout that we created in scrapbook class a couple of weeks ago, and it was really perfect for the occasion since my dad loves hunting (and of course it is finally Fall around here). I used the Wonderland stamp set to create a forest of Evergreen trees, and I really LOVE how it turned out! This was a big hit at scrapbook class as well. I added another bit of Whisper White stamped with the antlers, and completed the background with strips of gold and white from the Winter Wonderland Designer Series Paper. The striped gold DSP was perfect for giving the base of my forest a cohesive look.
I topped of the layout with an array of embellishments on the more masculine, forest-y side and a gold embossed title using the Larger Than Life Alphabet set. I also shared my forest a bit closer in the photo above so you can get a better look⌐I inked the stamp once, but stamped twice to give some depth. Check out the supply list for this project below. So along with this great project, I have some great news!! A SALE IS COMING!!! Check out all the details below.
