Simple Monochromatic Birthday Card

Hello there! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was jam packed with love via family time. :) I let that brown box sit a bit longer, and it was worth it as I got to spend time with family. It went by far too quickly of course, and I'm counting down to Labor Day weekend for a long weekend to get more marked off my to do list. I've got a long with this week, that includes making projects to share with you--and I am a-ok with that! Today I have a quick and easy card to share with you that's done with a monochromatic color palette. I chose purple for this one. It's not my favorite color, but, again, I need to step out of the box. This card was I swapped at Stampin' Up! Convention last month. Hope you enjoy it!

It's hard to tell from the lighting, but I used the I Think You're Great stamp from the set by the same name in Blushing Bride, just to add a bit of contrast to my color palette. The purples I used are Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum, and Elegant Eggplant.

The borders in the background are from the Bohemian Borders set, which is one of my very favorites! My banners are punched from the Triple Banner Punch. I'll say it again, that punch is an absolute must have! I topped it off with an Antique Brad for a bit of pop, and it worked perfectly! I'm getting better everyday at this simple thing, but don't worry, I haven't lost my love for over the top!  Thanks for stopping by today. As always, you can find everything you need to create this card and other projects in my online store. I've included a supply list for you below. Thanks again for stopping by!
