Simple Anniversary Love Card

My how the days fly by, it's Friday again! It's burning up here in Texas, so I plan to spend my weekend diving into that brown box that arrived the other day. Hopefully I'll have lots of Holiday Catalog projects to share with you next week! I can hardly wait to jump in! I also have a class to prepare for, where we will be creating this gorgeous wreath I shared awhile back. I'm really excited for that class and that die--I've been creating with it like crazy! Anyhow, speaking of classes, at my last card class birthday and anniversary cards were requested. We created several of each, and today I have another anniversary card to share.

This is a super simple card that is completely out of my comfort zone, but I'm loving it! I used the Triple Banner Punch to create the So Saffron flag, and it just might be one of my favorite products ever!!! It makes creating banners and flags super easy, and you can make several different sizes. Since you get the option for punching different sizes, you get more bang for your buck! I definitely recommend adding it to your must have list.

I spiced up the card with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder and punch Calypso Coral heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. I love this simple layout, and that it would be easy to change up to be more masculine or feminine. Being so simple, it's a bit out of my comfort zone, but I'm working on creating more simple layouts. I'm off to a good start I think. What about you, do you like creating simple or more detailed projects? Either way, I hope you're able to create this weekend, and maybe step a bit out of your box. :) Have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
