Happy Thursday to you! Another week has gotten away from me, but for good reason. I just got back on Tuesday afternoon from a long weekend with Lovely in Seattle and this time his mom. We had an amazing time, and even took a ferry up to Victoria, British Columbia. If you want to see/know more, check out my Instagram--I've been in over share mode over there! Now that I'm back, I'm resting as much as I can as the weekend was go-go-go, and this weekend have lots to do to prepare for Charlie's homecoming in ONE WEEK! Ekkk, can't wait until that plane touches down! Anyhow, I have several fun scrapbook layouts to share in the next couple of days that feature a few stamp sets you won't be able to find after next week! My favorite being Sophisticated Serifs. Much to my dismay, this favorite set of mine did not carry over into the new catalog that debuts Tuesday, so I'm using it up as much as possible right now. It's so perfect for cards and stationery, but oh my it works GREAT for scrapbooking titles!
See what I mean? It's just the right size! Even better, it is a photopolymer set which suckers to those clear blocks like magic! I use the long H & I blocks, and spell my word out on them so I only have to stamp once, rather than stamping each letter individually.
I intended this page to be a fun sort of St. Patrick's Day page, but who actually has pictures for that, right? Instead it morphed into a love page--Lucky in Love. And that I certainly am! So I printed up a few recent pictures of us from the bluebonnets earlier in the spring, and of Charlie being his usual silly self!
I love how this page turned out, and love documenting everyday, silly moments of us just being us. I quite love us. :) Thank you for stopping by today, and don't forget this alphabet set won't be available after Tuesday, so scoop it up today!
