Welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday. I had such a wonderful weekend with family, and can't stop reliving it through all of the great photos I snapped! I have lots of scrapbooking to do after this weekend, but at the top of my to do list are lots of masculine cards for several guys in my life. There are lots of birthdays coming up, and I'm never short on perfect ones for the ladies. However, I'm always short-handed or have ZERO masculine cards, so this month I've got my work cut out for me. I'm hoping to add another class to my schedule as well, for only masculine cards! It's sure to be a hit. Anyhow, I have a super simple masculine card to share today using the Adventure Awaits Photopolymer Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog.
For this card, I used the Adventure Abound Designer Series Paper stack, with a few masculine embellishments. The paper stack is so perfect for the guys, and pairs perfectly with the Adventure Awaits Stamp Set--it's even a bundled deal! Even better right?! For the sentiment, I used heat embossing to add a little more pizzazz, but kept it black so it is still manly. I used the White Jute Ribbon for embellishment, but cut my piece in half long ways so it wouldn't be too wide. I added the ribbon to my sentiment cut from the Oval Framelits with an Antique Brad with a flat silver finish to tie in with the gray background.
This would work great for a congratulations or graduation card for a guy in your life, and all of the elements would be great for a masculine birthday card. Thank you for stopping by today, and be on the look out for more masculine cards in the mix!
