Enjoy Life Masculine Scrapbook Layout

Happy hump day!! Whoop, whoop! As I mentioned earlier this week, Saturday is National Scrapbooking Day. So today I have a simple layout to share with you. I've used several retiring products, so if you see something you love, better snatch it up! The base of this page is from the Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Stack, and really sets the masculine feel. I coordinated with dark, regal tones, and added masculine embellishments.

I used a couple stamp sets that are on the retiring list, Postage Due and From My Heart. To me, both of these are great for creating for the men in my life, and work for feminine projects as well! I love when stamps do double duty, all the more reason to have them in my go to pile. For this project, I used Postage Due as accents on the top of my page, and From My Heart as my title.

I heat embossed the "secret of life" stamp in Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, and cut it out with the Labels Collection Framelits, also retiring. I added it to my Adventure Bound tiled background with dimensionals, and topped it off with a silver Antique Brad. I don't typically mix gold and silver, but in this case the DSP has both tones. The gold in the wood/log pattern, and the silver in the river rock pattern.

This was a perfect page for documenting a quick trip to the golf course, and the DSP only adds to the perfection! I need to stock up on more of that paper to keep on the ball of creating masculine projects. What is your favorite retiring stamp to use for masculine creating? I just might need to add it to my must have list!
