Watercolor Monogram Notecards

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and are refreshed for a new week. I'm finally feeling much better, about 90%, but I'll take it! I have lots on my to do list this week to get ready for a productive and fun Spring Break next week. I hoping to knock out a few things on my to do list so Spring Break can be reserved for fun!  Speaking of fun, I recently whipped up a few monogram notecards with a super fun watercolored background. I'm so excited about these, I'm even thinking of putting sets in my Etsy shop! I used the new Sophisticated Serifs Photopolymer Stamp Set for these cards, and I couldn't be more excited about them!

For this card, I used Melon Mambo for the watercoloring with my Aqua Painter. So quick & easy, but gives a big bang! I love how bright & neon the colors turn out with watercoloring. As you can see, this is a really simple card, but it packs a big punch! I gold embossed my monogram, and gold embossed the Silver Mini Brads to match my monogram. There is a trick for your monogram! MAKE SURE your watercoloring is completely dry before you work on the monogram! If not, the excess embossing powder will stick to your paper! Not good! I don't want you to have to start over like I did. :)

I think a set of these would be amazing for a gift, and they are so easy to make you can easily whip up a bunch! I also made one for my friend & upline in her favorite color combo, Real Red & Basic Black. For her's, I used silver brads & a silver embossed monogram.
I'm so excited about these, I've decided to offer them as a class! Join me March 19th at my Stampey Studio to create 10 Monogram Notecards. You can find more information here. Hope you can make it! If not, you can find everything you need in my online store to recreate your own! See supplies below. You can also purchase sets in my Etsy shop here. Thank you for stopping by today!
