Good morning! I'm enjoying the nice weather this week, but a bit bummed that it wasn't this nice a couple of weeks back during Spring Break. Ah well, better take it now while I can get it right!? Summer will be here in no time, and we'll be complaining of the scorching Texas heat around here. Lucky for us now, Spring weather is still here, just showing up in fact, so it's the perfect time for outdoors and Spring crafts. It's wedding season as well, and I've been creating tons of cards with the Sophisticated Serifs set. I've shared a few already, so I thought I'd share a couple of more, and put that set away for awhile so you can see ideas for other things. :) I just can't help but be drawn to this set though. It's perfect for everything! I've even been using it for scrapbooking. I had a class featuring this set last week, and it was a big hit! Everyone created 10 monogrammed note cards, and had a blast creating together!
I loved how they all turned out differently! Everyone came up with some great color combos, one of my favorites was Island Indigo & Gold embossing---BEAUTIFUL! I've got that combo on my list to try soon! I'm so glad everyone was able to make it, and I can't wait for all the rest of my upcoming classes--there's a bunch! Be sure to check out my schedule if you're local.
I've also been working with the Artisan Embellishment Kit a lot. It's chock full of BEAUTIFUL embellishments! In fact, I need to order another kit, as I've just about used this one up. As you can see from the card above, it comes with rose die cuts, a variety of ribbons, several button embellishments, and more! The kit was perfect for creating a fun monogram card with the Sophisticated Serifs set. Just lovely for a wedding card!
Here is another lovely card with the same set. This one is soft and feminine, perfect for a bridal shower! This card is a bit simpler, with just a strip of Silver Fancy Foil Vellum and Sahara Sand Lace Trim over that. I stuck with one initial for this card, and framed it out with the floral image from Sophisticated Serifs. I layered it on oval framelits, and added a couple of pearls to top it off. I just love how soft and elegant it is!
As promised, I've got a stack of many more project to share NOT using this set. :) But thank you for indulging my addiction to these beautiful stamps! I hope I've sold you on them by now. Remember for every $50 (until the 31st--so act fast), you get to choose a Sale-A-Bration product FREE! Thank you for stopping by today, and check back soon for more Loveleigh projects!
