Hello! As you can tell, I did a horrible job of sharing projects while I was on Spring Break, but I did make quite a few to share with you in the coming weeks. I didn't mark as much off of my to do list as I'd planned, but I had lots of fun anyway. Last Thursday, I had a wonderful Sale-A-Bration & Occasions Catalog Open House where someone earned $90 in FREE product PLUS 5 Sale-A-Bration products! That's amazing! You can do the same by hosting a party or making a purchase to earn hostess credit. Place any order of $150 or more (before tax & shipping) in my online store, and you'll automatically get hostess credit and free SAB items for every $50 you spend. If you'd like to host your own party to really boost the free loot, contact me (right side bar) to set up your party now!
A big hit at the Open House was the Sophisticated Serifs Photopolymer Stamp Set. We'll be using this set tomorrow evening at my Monogram Note Cards Class, and I've got lots of ladies looking forward too it! I've made so many cards with this set, and have a fun one to share today.
This is was for a wedding shower card, and that is just perfect for this set! The color combination is so dreamy, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, and gold. Just lovely! I paired the monogram with a gold sponged background using the Artisan Embellishment Kit, and it is gorgeous! I used the die cut floral background from the kit, a sponge, and Gold Encore Ink, and sponged the background for a beautiful floral background.
This card is chock full of beautiful layers. I layered three different ribbons a top each other over the gold background, and each is equally as lovely as the last. On top of the lacy ribbons, I layered several pieces cut from the Labels Collection Framelits. The monogram itself is gold embossed on Vellum Cardstock, and layered on top of the Pistachio Pudding label of the same size. I attached the two pieces together with Antique Brads to keep from having to use adhesive on the Vellum. Wouldn't want that to show through!
I absolutely love how this card turned out, so much so I wish it were mine! :) I love making special cards for special occasions, and the Sophisticated Serifs set is so perfect for taking care of business! I can't wait for all of the ladies to get their hands on this wonderful set at class tomorrow. Happy Stampin'!
