Well, life has been pretty crazy, but oh so wonderful around here the last couple of months. If you follow me on Instagram (my handle is dana_loveleighstampin), then you’re in the know! Lovely & I spent an amazing, dream-come-true Christmas season in Hawaii (more on that in a later post), I’ve moved my stampey room to a full on studio (more on that later as well), Lovely has been working an insane schedule and it’s only getting worse, and life is just busy & full with family, friend, doggie, and a smidgen alone time (translation, minimal crafty time). In January, I saw Beauty & the Beast off Broadway in Fort Worth with my sweet goddaughter and my dear friend, chauffeured my aunt, mom, and her childhood best friend around to a few fun stores, mostly antique, and a winery. I’ve spent as much time as possible with Lovely, done a few small projects around the house, and finished digital scrapbooks from two trips! I planned on getting back into the swing of things stamping wise, but only successfully worked up one class and a couple of orders! However, I that did give me a little push to stamp a few projects for myself, and I’m excited to finally get back to sharing them with you!
With the new Occasions Catalog AND Sale-A-Bration, there are so many fun new products to play with! Valentine’s Day is coming up next week, so I’ve done several projects for that. I am smitten the new Wood You Be Mine stamp set, so I have made several projects with the set. It is perfect for creating for the men in our lives whether that be for husbands, dads, boyfriends, or even sons! This set would be great for creating Valentine’s for little boys to share with his class. I need to work up a few ideas on that! But today, I do have a fun Valentine card to share!
I nicknamed this guy Lumbie, because, of course, he is a lumberjack! He couldn’t be more fun, and I paired him up with lots of fun embellishments and a great, masculine color combo. I used Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, Island Indigo, and gold. I can’t gush enough over this combo! I adore how the Cajun & Indigo pair with gold! It’s really a stunning color palette, and perfect for this set.
I had so much fun with Lumbie, and really can’t wait to create more with this set! I have so many ideas for him, including a fun scrapbook layout and more Valentine’s. He’s the perfect masculine set, and any card featuring it is sure to be a hit with your man! Thank you for stopping by today. I can’t wait to share more with you, so be sure to check back for more great Valentine ideas! Don't forget, it's Sale-A-Bration! Pair Wood You Be Mine with another set, and you've earned a FREE Sale-A-Bration product! Every $50 you spend (before tax & shipping) gets you Sale-A-Brating!
