Good morning and happy Friday!!! I'm so glad to see this day come! This is my last day at work for the year! At 5 o'clock we will officially be off work until the new year! What a blessing, right?! I'm looking forward to time off, vacation, time at home with family & fur children, and ample time for creating! And onto the creating part. Today I have a beautiful card to share with you for our next to the last installment of the 12 Weeks of Christmas here at Loveleigh Stampin'.
Today's card features the Wondrous Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set and beautiful two toned embossing! This card is super easy to make, but is stunning!! To create the "two toned" embossed look, you'll stamp the base of your wreath in Versamark and heat emboss with Gold Stampin' Powder. Then, with the leaves stamp (the stamp with just sporadic leaves) over your embossed image with Versamark (be careful here, it is very slippery.. you can see where I let me stamp slide), and heat emboss that with Early Espresso Stampin' Powder.
This look is very simple to create, but is absolutely stunning! You might think it will "hurt" to emboss over an embossed image again, but don't worry, it doesn't mess up your base image. It only makes it more beautiful! :) I topped off this card with a sentiment from the wreath set, framed in Antique Brads that are the perfect color to compliment the wreath.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Only 13 more days until Christmas!
