Crumb Cake & Blackberry Bliss

Happy, happy Hump Day! I can't believe another week is half way gone, and the weekend will soon be upon us! I've got big plans of crafting for the weekend,  a little {window} shopping with my mom, and a Christmas Card class. I'm looking forward to it all! This week after work & during my lunch break I've been doing a little crafting as well. I've got big plans for Christmas items this year, and well, it will be here before we know it! And before Christmas, we get to enjoy the wonderful holiday of Thanks. I'm thoroughly enjoying this Thanksgiving season. As each year passes, I grow more & more thankful for this amazing life, and November is a wonderful time to reflect on our blessings. Anyhow, like I said, I've been creating a lot lately, and have a simple card to share that would be perfect for giving someone thanks.

I was playing around with colors on this card, and fell in love with Crumb Cake and Blackberry Bliss together! I think they are so perfect together. I used the Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper for this card background, and layered the striped pattern over a Crumb Cake card base. I used the Four Feathers Bundle (one of my favorites if you haven't noticed!) to create a few feathers, and embellished with Blackberry Bliss Ribbon.

I finished up my card with a sentiment from the Merry Everything set stamped in Blackberry Bliss. I punched it out with the 2-1/2" Circle Punch, and attached them with Dimensionals. This is another simple card that has pushed me out of my comfort zone, but I'm enjoying this creating simplistically every now and again. :)
