Well, I'm not so great at keeping up with this 12 Weeks of Christmas thing, but I hope you'll forgive me and stick around anyhow. :) I hope your week went well, and have your plans all set for our upcoming week of gratefulness! :)
Today I have a fun Christmas Frameable to share with you that I created for a class I'm holding tomorrow. We'll be making this framed art, Christmas gift tags, and a beautiful Blue Christmas gift box. Anyhow, for this framable, I used my favorite color scheme, black & gold. Surprise, surprise, right!? :) I used lots of gold goodies, ribbon, sequin trim, glimmer paper, and more.
Along with all of those beautiful gold pieces, I used the Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper, which compliments gold so well! I did use a retired stamp set, Remembering Christmas. Although it's retire, it is available as a digital download!! I LOVE when that happens. This is one of my favorite sets, and I hated to see it go. But, yay!! for MDS downloads! :)
I messed up that lovely deer's horns, but you probably didn't notice until I mentioned it. :) Anyway, I stamped him with Tuxedo Black Momento Ink on Very Vanilla, and cut him out with an Oval Framelit. Over top him, I cut "Noel" from the Wonderful Wreath Framelits with Gold Foil Paper. I love the way he turned out, and he will go with my black & gold Christmas decor perfectly!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll check back next Friday during your busy Thanksgiving weekend! If I don't "see" you before Thursday, I wish you & your family a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!
