Halloween Treats & Tags

Another week almost gone?! The days and weeks have been flying by leading up to this past weekend's event. My cousin married in a beautiful rustic venue and outdoor ceremony, and it was wonderful to see all of the hard work finally pay off! The weather was gorgeous, the decorations came together perfectly, and the entire celebration was magical. Since getting back home, I've been catching up on sleep and trying to get things at home and work back in order. I think I'm finally back into the groove, and am looking forward to a semi clear/easy schedule in the coming weeks. What does this mean for you? More projects for me to share with you!
Today, I'm so excited to share a couple of fun Halloween projects with you, a couple of quick tags & a darling, quick & easy bag for your Halloween treats! This bag is SUPER simple to make, and only requires two pieces of paper. You'll need a 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" piece of cardstock & a 5-1/2" x 12" piece of Designer Series Paper.
The sheet of cardstock should be scored at 1" all the way around. Then, score diagonally from the outer corner to the corner where the two lines cross. Your score lines should look like this:
Fold your score lines, tucking each corner in, each going in the same direction, and use Snail Adhesive to keep each corner in place. You should end up with a small tray. Next, lay your DSP in front of you, the side you want on the outside of the box down (make sure the pattern is going the right direction). Put Sticky Strip across the bottom of your DSP and along the right side edge. Remove the Sticky Strip backing, and starting with the left side of the DSP attach your DSP to the outside edge of your tray. Wrap the DSP around until you reach the Sticky Striped edge. Remove the backing, and attach the edge neatly. You'll end up with a cute little bag! You can decorate it as you wish. Punch holes to add ribbon, add handles, or just leave as is!

My upline taught us how to make these bags at a recent downline meeting, and I've made about a million since! They are so quick & each, yet so darn cute! They are perfect for candies, a small gift, a collection of tags inside.. think a gift of Christmas gift tags inside!! Who wouldn't love that!? Speaking of tags, I have a couple of simple Halloween tags to share.

These tags were super quick to make! The Merry Everything Stamp Set & coordinating punch are perfect for your holiday gift tags! The second tag was made with the Motley Monsters DSP & Tag Topper Punch, quick & easy! I added a sentiment and twine, viola!

Halloween tags are one of my favorite projects to make this time of year! Who doesn't love to receive a little candy treat at Halloween, and these are perfect to attach to any treat! Thank you so much for stopping by today. Don't forget to check back tomorrow for the 2nd installment of my 12 Weeks of Christmas projects!
