It has been a beyond crazy week, but I've finally got a little break to share a card made with one of my favorite new stamp sets, Santa Stache. This is such a fun and whimsical set, and I am particularly excited about the nutcracker! After our trip to New York, I have a new found love for nutcrackers! We had the joy of seeing The Nutcracker at the New York City Ballet, our first time seeing it ever, and we loved the darling little nutcracker. My mom even bought me my own not long after the trip. Anyhow, for today's project, I used the nutcracker from this set along with the Coastal Cabana Blendabilities.
For my color scheme I used Coastal Cabana, Real Red, Whisper White, and the new Under the Tree Specialty DSP. This new DSP is super thick and perfect for making 3D projects, but the patterns are so fun for cards and scrapbook pages as well.
This set is particularly fun, because it coordinates with the Mustache Framelit. Perfect for creating a big pop! The Blendabilities also created a big punch! I used all three markers in the set to create an ombre look on his uniform. I love how it turned out!
I added a titch more pizazz with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder and Epic Day Designer Washi Tape. Inside the card, I stamped "Nutty or nice?" from the set, but forgot to snap a picture. I love how this whole card came together, and can't wait to create more with this set! I'm thinking it will make a great scrapbook layout. Hope you'll check back soon for more holiday projects!
