As I mentioned last week, last weekend was my cousin's bridal shower. I had so much fun working with the other bridesmaids to throw her a great shower. I was in charged of invitations and the decorating, and I couldn't have been more giddy about that! She chose to do a completely different color palette for her shower than her wedding colors, and it was so much fun! Her shower colors we Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Gold. I squealed when she said we could use gold! Love me some gold! For decorations I painted a few mason jars in the fun colors, gathered a sequin table cloth, and added pom poms & lanterns above the dessert table.
We had yummy AND beautiful desserts and tons of snacks. Aren't those cookies so darling! I had so much fun painting the jars, especially the gold glitter ones. My mom also found the perfect coral Tyler Roses for flowers that looked great in the gold mason jars! I'm excited about all of these jars because I can reuse them in my new stampey studio that's in the works! So thanks Kelsey for choosing that color scheme! :)
Like I said, I was also in charge of the invitations. Kelsey found a sample online that she loved, and I created something similar with My Digital Studio. The invi is very simple, yet has lots of pop! I love how it's shaped like a wedding cake, so fun!
I only used a couple of digital stamps and the rest is arranged font. I used Cheers to Love, Big Wish, and Joyous Celebrations Stamp Brush Set Digital Downloads. The bow from Joyous Celebrations really topped it off! I always feel so honored when people ask little ole me to create their invitations for such special occasions! MDS is perfect for it. Thank you so much for stopping by today! Check back tomorrow for a BEAUTIFUL wedding shower card to match today's invitations!
