What a crazy couple of weeks it has been! My apologies for being MIA last week. I was enjoying my nephews as much as I could as it was their last week with us for the summer. I was so so sad to see them go back home, but they will be back soon. Anyhow, I have been doing lots of creating lately, and created a fun layout cased from a fellow Instagrammer that was posted for National Scrapbooking Day. It is very, very different from what I usually do, but it is so fun!
My color scheme is Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe, and a touch of gold, perfect for your summer scrapbooking! My page is actually from a photo I snapped on sunny January day, but this would work great for any summer layout. I only used one stamp set on this page, for my title, and added some funky lines with a couple Stampin' Write Markers. I spiced things up with some washi tape from the Sweet Sadie collection and sequins.
I created a fun punch art sun, using the star from the new punch pack & 3/4" circle punch. Isn't my baby girl cute soaking up the sun? :) Believe it or not, I've been going through my scrapbooking plan, and dwindled down quite a few layouts of the dogs, and am doing a layout a month of all their cute pictures throughout the month. That way I won't bombard you with as many doggie layouts. :)
I hope you enjoyed today's page. Be sure to check back this week for printing on Designer Series Paper and Washi Tape!!
