In This Together Z-Fold Card

Happy Thursday to you!! I am jumping for joy that it is finally Thursday, because it's my Friday! Yahoo! I'm looking forward to lots of creating this weekend with my dear friend & upline Sam! We have so much fun when we are together, and I know this weekend will be no different. Speaking of fun, I have a really fun card to share with you today that features the new In This Together stamp set. It is also a card with a fun fold that is easy to recreate.

I started out intending to use the new Blendabilities markers from Stampin' Up! However, I soon realized I need a little more practice & training with these. Once I perfect my Blendabilities talents, I'll definitely be sharing my work & tips! So for the time being, I only used the new markers on the skirt of the girl on the right. You can tell I didn't do well at blending, and that is the whole point. So I put the Blendabilities aside, and brought out my regular Stampin' Write Markers. I was a little messy, but that's what makes it handmade, right? :)

Like I said before, I also used a fun fold on this card. I broke out my Simply Scored, and scored an 11" x 4-1/4" piece of cardstock long ways at 4-1/4" & 6-3/8". I folded my card in half as normal. Then folded the at the 6-3/8" score line backwards, creating a Z. You can see more details of the Z above. I used Brights DSP in Melon Mambo to add to the front of my card, and matted my stamped image on Coastal Cabana. I then glued my matted stamped image onto the front of my card, only putting Snail Adhesive on the left side (right side if you have the back facing you).

This is such a fun stamp set, and my color scheme and Z-fold added to the party. The In This Together set is perfect for cards to our favorite girlfriends, mothers, daughters, and any special ladies in our lives. I can't wait to make more with the set! Thank you for stopping by today. See you back soon!
