Buttercup Pup Project Life Layout

Hi! I hope you are having a great day. Mine has been great, as today started my long weekend. Can't beat that! I've spent the morning cleaning up & doing laundry, and now I'm excited to sit down to create without anything else like housework on my mind. Sometimes life just gets in the way of creating, but Project Life by Stampin' Up! really changes that. It makes scrapbooking everyday moments and even special events easy peasy! Although I use Project Life a little non-traditionally, it still helps make scrapbooking much quicker and easier for me.
I take pictures of our doggies a lot, and using Project Life to document all of those pictures makes the takes seem much easier. I created a fun layout using several different Project Life cards, along with several pictures of our "little girl," Puddin'.

I used a list card along with one with a camera on it. I spiced up the list with flags, and added a Wooden Element with a dog stamped on it from the Hot Diggity Dog set. So perfect, right? Ok, let me be honest about the flags.. I missed spelled a word, so the flags were an easy fix!  Then I decided I wanted my entire list to start with "s" so I used flags on the whole thing. I think it works perfect, and gives it a nice pop. My background is made with a stencil from the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit, a sponge, and ink. The stenciling gives a nice background without being to harsh, although you can make the coloring as dark (or light) as you wish. My title is from the Geometrical set. For the pup portion, I simply used a Stampin' Write Marker to color in only the letters I needed.

I love incorporating Project Life cards into my traditional layouts. It seems to greatly speed up my process, and the more time I save, the more layouts I can create! These cards can also take the guess work out of titles and journaling, which, again, saves time. Are you big on saving time but not giving up style & pizzazz when it comes to scrapbooking? If so, these products just might be for you! You can find all of the Project Life products offered by Stampn' Up! in my online store (link below).
