Boy, I can't believe it's already Monday! The weekends go by way too fast for me! Can we either rewind to this past Friday, or fast forward to the one coming up?! I had a fun, jam packed weekend this go round (TWO Broadway shows with my mom-so fun!), and nothing on the calendar for the coming up week, so that is nice! I did have time to do a little creating for a baby shower coming up. I only ever make baby stuff when there's a particular event when I'm in need of a baby card, and I have several showers coming up and friends expecting new babies soon. So what better way to create them something special than with the new Something for Baby Bundle!
Isn't that the cutest!? Best part, it has matching framelit dies! LOVE when that happens! Anyhow, for today's card I used the cute little duckie! I paired it up with the new In Color, Hello Honey.. just perfect together! I followed a sketch I found on Pinterest, and love how it turned out.
Along with Hello Honey, I used Gold, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White. My background is made with the Work of Art Stamp Set, and the sentiment is from Petite Pairs stamped in Crumb Bake. For "baby" I used the new Metro Type Alphabet Photopolymer Set stamped with Hello Honey. I ADORE this alphabet, it's so versatile. You can see here where I used it on a scrapbook page too.
I like I said, I accented in gold. I used the Gold Foil Sheets and Gold Baker's Twine to do the trick. Hello Honey really looks great with it! I generously wrapped the Baker's Twine around the card base, and tied a pretty little bow for accent. My cute little Hello Honey duckie is layered on Whisper White, then with a gold Starburst Framelit piece under that.
I am so loving this bundle, and card sketch as well! Can't wait to figure out what to create with them next! What ideas do you have to use this bundle for non-baby creations?!
