Spring Breakers Double Page Layout

Good evening! I'm a bit behind again today. I've been getting side tracked with the beautiful weather we've been having! It's been very cool at night, but beautiful during the day. We were lucky enough to have some nice weather over Spring Break back in March as well. My brother & I decided to take our nephews to the zoo while they were here for Spring Break, and I love how the scrapbook page turned out for it. I found a sketch on Pinterest, and went from there. I knew I wanted to include a sun on my page so I used the Retro Fresh DSP & Designer Washi Tape which is perfect for a sunny occasion.

I cut two different suns for this page, one large for the left side and a smaller one for an accent on the right. I cut the sun with my Silhouette Cameo. It is from the All Time Fave Photobook Template. I placed this smaller one next to my journaling. I used the Make Note This and That Rotary stamp for the date and a little added fun with the sunglasses.

The larger sun was placed behind my photos on the left page. I accented both pages with a Pool Party and Tangerine Tango scalloped border.  I also used my Silhouette to cut a fun title. I decided on "spring breakers."

Here is a look at the entire page. I love that I was able to include plenty of pictures without the page looking too busy. There is even plenty of blank space to keep the page from looking overloaded. I love the look of the Retro Fresh Products with the pictures for this bright, fun day!

Have you been doing any scrapbooking lately? I've been scrapbooking like crazy, and have come to love my Silhouette & MDS more and more when taking care of titles and accents for my pages. Thank you for coming by today! Check back tomorrow for a party invitation made with My Digital Studio.
