I'm a bit late posting today, but I have a fun scrapbook page to share. I've been doing a lot of scrapbooking lately, and love the On Film Framelits to frame my photos with. I had a lot of fun with this page. The Kaleidoscope DSP pairs great with these framelits as well. I used some fun pictures of my nephews that make me smile, of course! :)
Along with the On Film Framelits, I used the Peachy Keen & Hip Notes Stamp Sets. I stamped my arrows with Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush, and Crushed Curry. I carried over the "Oh" from "Oh Snap," into my big title. "Oh you make me smile" was created & cut with my Silhouette Cameo. I decided to do an all caps font and a fun, cursive font for "smile." I added a little pop to the smile by using a different color cardstock, Strawberry Slush, and a jewel.
In the photo above, you can see a closer look at the background which I spritzed with shimmer paint. Stampin' Up! no longer carries it, but you can get the same effect with metallic paint from your local craft store. All you need is a spritzer bottle, rubbing alcohol, and a couple of drops of the paint. I love how the platinum paint looks against the black, and the Strawberry Slush DSP & Bermuda Bay triangles really stand out! I added a little heart from the Essentials Wooden Elements topped with a jewel. Below, you'll see that I added an arrow from the wood cut outs pointing to our picture.
I love when you can have fun with lots of different tools when scrapbooking! It's fun to make unconventional layouts, and the On Film Framelits really do the trick!
Thank you for stopping by, and be sure to check back tomorrow for a double page scrapbook spread!
