Hippity Hoppity Easter Projects & Sequin Trim Circle Tutorital

I can't believe April is already here! The past year has flown by! This month is full of lots of events, our 1 year anniversary & Easter in particular. Yesterday, I shared my Everything Frame, and today I wanted to share the Easter pretty I whipped up for the frame. I've been working on a few other Easter projects as well, and a little Easter vignette. First up, the fun & glittery framable.

I created this especially for Easter this year to add to my Everything Frame, and had it printed through My Digital Studio's printing services. I knew I wanted to use gold, and paired it with the 2013-2015 In Colors Strawberry Slush & Coastal Cabana. Everything except for the gold polka dot lines & "Easter" are fonts. The fonts I used are Pharmacy, Lavanderia, and Return to Sender. You can find these all online free! The gold polka dot trim is from the Glimmer Kit Download & the Easter is the Timeless Type Junior Letters & Numbers Alphabet Punch Download filled with Glimmer Designer Paper Download in Gold. Here is a better look at it from my digital file.

I really love how it turned out! I've had a little obsession with bunnies lately. We've had a few nests in our yard, and they are just so sweet! They've all grown up now, and left the nest. But I see them hippity hopping around the yard from time to time. :) In honor of those little bunnies, I wanted to do something with a bunny for our Easter decor.

I had several criteria for the little gem. Gold, Pistachio Pudding Cardstock, White, & a Gold Sequin Trim puffy tail! I was thrilled that I used all of the colors I envisioned, and the Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum heart pattern looks perfect over top the Pistachio Pudding Cardstock in the frame. The bunny is from the Little Additions Stamp Brush Set Set MDS download. I imported her into my Silhouette program, and cut it from white vinyl. I put that directly on the frame's glass, that way I can reuse the cardstock & vellum later. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE how the gold tail turned out! I'm sure you'll want to know how to make your own Gold Sequin Trim circle, so here is a little tute for you. Be sure to start with your Silicone Craft Sheet & Glue Gun.

The Gold Sequin Trim is really easy to work with and twist into a circle. You'll want to put a little glue every so often as you go, and the Silicone Craft Sheet allows you to peel it right off when the glue is dry without messing up your circle. You'll want to trim off the excess glue with your Craft & Rubber Scissors. As you can see, I attached my circle to my bunny using Stampin' Dimensionals-perfect little pop! Here is our little Easter set up all put together.

I'm absolutely smitten with it! The framable & vinyl bunny with the gold tail are the perfect touches! I had SO much fun creating these projects, and I really hope you find inspiration in them.
