Trash to Treasure: Take Two

Good morning! I'm so glad you stopped back by to see what else I created with my "trash" pile. Yesterday, I shared 4 cards a whipped up using those extra goodies, 2 of which were done with the Dress Up Framelits. I mentioned that I had TONS of the dresses, so I still needed to find a way to use the rest rest of those pretty dress forms. I decided to use them for a scrapbook layout. I had just the right occasion to scrapbook on the page as well, bridesmaids' dress shopping for my cousins wedding & lunch afterwards.
My dress forms looked great across the bottom, but I had two that were a different color from the others. I decided to make these pop a little more with a little ribbon belt from my scrap ribbon bowl. I also used scrap ribbon to accent the top right corner, and my journaling on the bottom left. I added a Paper Doily to the empty space the dress forms didn't take up.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut a title that I typed up in different fonts, one fancy, one fun, and one for the remainder of the title. I love that I can create any title I want with any font I choose, or even use My Digital Studio stamps to create my title. I also so love the treasures I created from my "trash" pile--they all turned out beautifully! Do you save your scraps to create masterpieces with later?
Check back tomorrow for a beautiful page using gold & the fun black pattern in the Sale-A-Bration DSP.
