Stampin' Up! Woodblocks Upcycled

Happy 1st day of Spring to you! I am excited for all that spring brings! We've enjoyed a titch of warmer weather, baby bunnies around our house, and the sweet new baby calves at the neighbor's. I love all the new that comes with Spring, and sometimes those things are simply new to me or taking something old and turning it into something new—and that is just what today's project is all about! I’ve been collecting used Stampin’ Up! woodblocks from stamps ever since the introduction of the Clear-Mount Stamps. I knew they would eventually come in hand, and that I would eventually figure out a fun way to use them. I’ve had several ideas in mind, and since I got my Silhouette Cameo for Christmas, I could finally put one of the ideas into action. My Digital Studio came in extra handy for this project. So,

My Digital Studio + Silhouette Cameo + Vinyl + a little bit of paint & a brush=THIS

Isn’t that so fun! For this block, I can’t remember the download I used, but I will look it up & update this post. I made several more quote blocks. Update: "This life is so good" is from the Rise & Shine Pocket Cards Digital Download. For the other two, I simply left the woodblocks plain so that you could really tell it was a woodblock for a stamp.

The first quote came from the Life Is All Around CalendarTemplate. This is SUCH a fun download! Not only is it great for calendars but for gift giving & scrapbooking as well.  The second came from the Blossoms Abound Kit. PERFECT for Spring now that it is here.

I hope you enjoyed seeing this fun project. It’s so simple to upload your My Digital Studio SVG downloads into the Silhouette Studio for cutting. I can’t wait to create more of these—they are the perfect gift!
