Happy Friday to you!! I am beyond thrilled for the weekend, and so excited for cooler weather this weekend (it warmed up again this week, yuk!). I've been dreaming of cold weather all week long as I've been planning our trip to NYC this December. I am so thrilled to be going, and so thrilled for the cooler weather ahead!
I'm sure you aren't here to hear my babble, you're here for a fun project! Today, I want to share our new niece's birth announcements and nursery art that I created in My Digital Studio.
Aren't they so sweet! Chevron is all the rage right now, but I softened it up with light colors and little pretties, like butterflies and pearls. I had them printed through Stampin' Up!, and they turned out great! EXCEPT I put the wrong date!! AUNT FAIL! I wish I would have seen before they were mailed out, because I could have easily fixed them, but it was too late. :( So I corrected them (correct one shown), and am ordering a few more for the parents to have.
I also had a great time designing nursery art requested by my sister-in-law for sweet Cailyn's nursery. She gave me several idea of what she liked, a color palette, and I went from there. Here is what we came up with:
Each was designed and printed in a 12x12 MDS layout. A couple were framed as 12x12, a couple 8x8, and a couple 5x5. They turned out really cute! EXCEPT another AUNT FAIL! On the alphabet one, I completely left out the "P." So I am working on reordering that so Baby Cailyn will know the CORRECT alphabet. :) These mishap are all something to laugh about now, but I still feel so badly! Hey, at least the announcements & art are fab enough to make up for it!
