Making a House a Home Series: Master Bedroom

Good morning! I can't believe this is the last day of the Making a House a Home Series. It took such much time and planning to create these spaces, yet so little time to share them all. I saved the best room for last, the master bedroom. It is my favorite room and definitely describes us as a couple, calm and serene.
This room has lots of new things. We purchased a new bedroom suite, received new bedding as a wedding gift, and used several pieces from our wedding as d├ęcor.
Furniture: Ashley's
Bedding: Target (wedding gift)
Lamps: Marshall's
Fan: Vintage garage sale find
Frames (above): Wedding Gifts
Dog Piggy Bank: Gift
Necklace Stand: Canton First Monday
Tiered Biscuit Tray (used for jewelry): Canton First Monday
Egg Basket (used for jewelry): Gift
Vase: Already Owned + My Wedding Brooch Bouquet
Frame: Hobby Lobby
Shadow Box: TJMaxx
I love this shadow box of important pieces from our wedding.
I put our invitation, place cards, Lovely's boutonniere, my garter, bracelet, & earrings,
and forks we metal stamped to say "Mr." & "Mrs."

This dresser is on the left side of our bed, and styled with lots of wedding photos.
I put my wedding flower bouquet in a tall vase in the back, made a shadow box with my hair piece (below), and have my dress hanger there.

I used a silver tray we already had for displaying our perfumes & colognes, and this beautiful snowglobe we received as a wedding gift! If you look closely you can also see a hurricane with a glass bird on top that holds my nail polishes.

I truly love how this room turned out! I'm still working on getting something to go over the bed, but I think I might have found the perfect piece--now if it will only go on sale! I'm also hoping to get a sitting chair to go in the empty corner to use for reading and extra pillows.
I hope you've enjoyed this peek into our home, and hope you've found some inspiration. I truly love decorating and creating perfect spaces!
