Our entry way is open to our living room, but we have done a pretty good job of separating the spaces with furniture as well as transitioning the two.
In this photo you can see our chairs separating the living room & entry way. We've used photo holders to transition the spaces, yet made the foyer have it's only feel.
You see this as soon as you walk in the door, and it coincides with the living room & brings the spaces together. I found this at Marshall's for $12.99!
To the left of our front door we have a fish tank and floating shelf. I styled the shelf with Lovely's memorabilia from Cuba as well as a few airplanes & coin collection awarded from his company. These pieces go hand in hand with the photos we have in our hall of each of our grandfather's military photographs.
We also have a FUN & classy metal monogram piece for our front door made by a friend from high school. You can find his work on Facebook at Webre Metals Works. I used some Stampin' Up! fabric & 3M hanger to display it.
When you open our front door, you look right into the laundry room. We are still working on a few cosmetics in that room, but I've already started decorating it a bit. I used pieces from our old bedroom and frames & subway art we received as wedding gifts to decorate the walls.
My sweet friend Faith gave me these photo holders as a gift recently. I still need to print a few black & white photos to hang on them, because after all, everything has to be black & white in here. :)
Hope you enjoyed what I had to share today. Check back tomorrow for a look into our new guest room! Have a great Saturday!
