Wedding Series Day 6: Candy Bar/Photo Table

Happy Friday to you! We are nearing the end of my wedding series, and I thought I would share one of the show stoppers from out wedding, a 30 foot candy bar/photo table! I don't have a photo of the entire table (who could fit that in one photo), BUT I do have some fabulous photos of the details.
I stamped cute little bags for people to fill with their favorite candy or candies :) along with labels for each candy. I followed the same design for the labels as I used for our place cards, and added them to skewers to stick down in the bowls or jars. I created a sign in MDS, printed, and framed it to display on the table. My sweet friend Sam let me use the poem she made up for her own wedding candy bar. The 30 foot table was filled with 30+ varieties of candy and lots of vintage family photos. Here are a couple of pictures where you can see the entire table. The first you can see it to the left with all of our pictures. The second you can see how far it winds down, and see where our cake table would be with the lacy gold overlay table cloth on the left.

I also made another sign for our "sparkling farewell" to sit with our sparklers. It looks a lot like the others with our monogram.
The last DIY for today was refurbing vintage windows. I found several vintage windows for $5 each!!! YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT! :) And I couldn't resist finding someway to incorporate them into the wedding. A paned window worked perfectly for a menu board. I simply wrote with a paint pen in each pane various parts of our dinner and dessert menus. The other two windows I added vinyl quotes to that I purchased to go along with our wedding colors. I found these from Uppercase Living. One one I attached a poster sized print of one of our engagement photos.

Hope you enjoyed today's details. Check back tomorrow for the final day of the series. I'll be sharing our photobooks & our wedding decor by Kathy Riggs at Earle-Harrison House.
