As I talked about yesterday, I've started doing a scrapbook class, and I do have to say that I am getting better and better at scrapbooking. I tend to stay on top of things now, and have much more fun scrapbooking than I used to. I guess I just needed that extra push to take my layouts over the edge. Don't get me wrong, I've always scrapbooked (started out doing that long before making cards), but I never felt like I was that good, but hosting these classes have really changed that. I definitely do some casing and gather inspiration, but I feel much happier with my page lately. I'll let the layouts speak for themselves. Let me know in a comment what you think!
Cased this idea, and used the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set and the "scrap" circles from the Daydream Medallions Stamp Set. Don't those those away! They're great!
I found this sketch on Stampin' Up!'s site, and loved it.
This pages shows ones of my 30B430 accomplishments, growing my hair long!
I grew it very, very long, probably the longest it has been since I was a young girl, for the wedding,
then chopped it off... Now I'm totally regretting that, look how beautiful that long hair was!
Oh well, it is in the process of growing back! :)
I also cased this sketch, and used a square Instagram photo.
I love the way it turned out! With Instagram, I have SO many single, square photos.
So be on the look out for more layouts like that.
I love this sweet monochromatic page! Worked perfectly for a page about our new niece!
I COULD NOT resist casing this page for a "painting party" we did with my nephews!
They had such a great time painting canvases for Nawni & Paw's new house!
