30B430 #6 & MDS Biz Cards

Happy Friday to you! I hope your week has been great, and that your weekend will be even better! Things have been a little crazy around our house this past week. We got a new "baby"! :) She is the sweetest thing you ever did see, and loves to sleep! Her name is "Stitch." We also like to call her "Puddin' Stitch."
She is just shy of 2 months old, and is an American Pit Bull Terrier. She is a playful little thing, but mostly loves to snuggle. Miss Stitch is also deaf. We were excited to "adopt" her from my cousin, who upon learning she was deaf, just didn't have the time to devote to her training. Since we have a bit of experience with deaf dogs (my parents have a deaf Boston Terrier) they asked us if we would like to have her. Without hesitation, Charlie & I said of course! She has lit up our world this past week, and brought much fun & joy! We are excited to teach her more, and watch her grow...she already has in the short week we've had her!

Anyway, Stitch isn't why I'm here, but don't be offended if you see much more of her! :) She has blown up my Instagram feed this week. I have a fun MDS project to share with you, and a little "change/marking off" of a 30B430. When I set out in writing my 30B430 list (which as of last Thursday, I have 4 years to I really have got to get on the ball!),

I wrote #6 with the hope of building my own business, literally, as in in a building... But I have come to realize, that I don't necessarily need a storefront to have and run a successful business. Since writing my 30B430 list, my Loveleigh Stampin' business (Stampin' Up! products, classes, cards, & invitations) has grown & thrived. I still hope to see it grow more, but I don't need a place outside of my home to make that happen. The internet and social media have been a great storefront for me, so with that I am marking off #6 "Have my own business," because I most certainly already do right here, online and in my home.
With this revelation, I have been working to revamp a few things with my business. I am in the process of updating my blog, Facebook fan page, and opening an Etsy shop. With that, I definitely needed new business cards. What better way to make them "Stampin' Up!" friendly than to design them in My Digital Studio...and what a great advertisement for MDS! I decided to make them front & back, and to coordinate with my blog.
I really love the way they turned out, and love the touch of Stampin' Up!'s Statement of the Heart on the back. What do you think? What unique ways do you use MDS?

  1. So proud of all you have done! I LOVE the business cards!!

Thank you for stopping by, and leaving your thoughts!
