My World Wednesday

Ahhh, remember last week how I was looking forward to my time off and getting things done?! Well, I've been off 5 days now, and haven't stopped to get things done yet! But, I'm not complaining! It's all been time well spent!
Over the weekend, I went to visit my friend Sam & her mom, Faith. We had a wonderful time! We watched movies, made pretties, and had a little fun making salt dough Christmas ornaments!

They turned out so well, and were SO fun to make! For some we used the Stampin' Up! Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps, and on others used traditional stamps. Classic Ink Pads were used for all of them, and we finished them off with Platinum Shimmer Paint & Ribbon. They are a perfect addition to our tree, and a couple will make great gifts! They were so easy to make, you should definitely try them! We used there recipe found here.

Also, today Charlie & I spent the day in College Station. We drove around the town, caught a movie, The Guilt Trip, went to the mall, out to dinner, and for the grande finale, Santa's Wonderland! I was really magical! :) It is a beautiful Christmas light park, with a lovely little village with shops, eateries, and a big screen showing Christmas movies. They also have a train ride for the little ones, offer pictures with Santa, and have a fire pit for roasting marshmallows! We enjoyed a wonderful carriage ride through the park. It was a great experience! The park wasn't as big as I imagined, but riding on a horse drawn carriage made it magical!

Oh, I almost forgot! Yesterday, I promised I'd share the No Peeking gift tags I made for my friends at work. They were simple to do, but beautiful..both a must when making that many!
