International Circus

A few weeks ago we attended the Barnum & Bailey Ringling Brothers Circus Bash. We had a lot of fun! However, it wasn't quite as exciting as I remember as a kid, but I have to remember that it was a smaller circus. We will definitely try to have to go to a full fledged circus, and not just a bash soon. Here is the scrapbook page I created for this event.

I found the inspiration for this layout on Stampin' Up!'s Facebook page.
It was on their product board at Convention.
I just loved the idea of using the International Bazaar DSP for our trip to the circus.

Flowers aren't exactly circus-y, but I think they went great with the page!

The "wallpaper" on the page is made with one of the Framelits from the Apothecary Accents Collection.
I used Designer Series Paper, Cardstock & a couple of pictures.

I absolutely love the look of this pattern!
It was also surprisingly easy to put together once I cut the pieces.

Here are a couple more photos from the night.
We went with Charlie's family.
This is us with his sister, brother-in-law, and niece. His mom & dad went as well.

We were also in for a special treat when Charlie was called to the stage!
If he could lift this 175 pound kettlebell above his head he would win $1000!!!
He went home empty handed, but it was a fun for us all to see!

We had a really great time together, and can't wait to see a much larger circus, with a lion!!
