Hybrid Scrapbook Page

Until recently, I haven't been the greatest scrapbooker. Well, I mean I get the pages done, they just aren't that great looking! So I have been practicing, and I've got to brag on myself, I'm proud of the work I've come up with! Here is one of my latest pages (a few months behind, but better late than never). I usually collect many photos to scrapbook, then do them all at once. This one, I am going to call a hybrid. Even though the page itself is not done in My Digital Studio, elements on the page are. And, I suppose I should tell you, or remind you if you already know, hybrid means taking elements of digital scrapbooking/paper crafting and traditional scrapbooking/paper crafting and meshing them together.

On this page, I took the birth announcements I created in My Digital Studio for my nephew, Carter, and put them on a scrapbook page along with other photos.. This way I have his name and all the birth stats without having to journal them or cut out all of those letters and numbers.

I also love how this corner turned out with the onesie as the "t" in his name! So clever! I can't take the credit though; there is a retired stamp set that spelled "cutie" with a onesie as the t, but it's still SO cute! I used the Baby Tees Jumbo Wheel for the "t" as well as on the page.

What is the most clever journaling trick you have seen?
