Framed Art Magnetic Board

I found this project recently on Shelli Gardner's Blog, Stampin' Up!'s Co-founder & CEO, and new immediately that I wanted to case it. Since I love the Betsy's Blossom Stamp Set, I decided to keep that the same, but change up the colors to match my stampey room.

I stamped the Betsy's Blossom flower with Versamark, and embossed it with clearn embossing powder to give it a shine and thickness. I love the tone on tone look that Versamark creates! With a Versamark pad and any color cardstock you can practically stamp in any color!

Now, to make this a magnetic board, I applied the First Edition DSP to adhesive magnetic sheets, so it is hidden! I then took the Vintage Faceted Buttons, and attached them to adhesive magnets (one side is adhesive and the other is magnet..not hot glue required!).

I also added little Linen Thread bows to the buttons, and they look just darling! I put this all in a silver 5x7 frame (glass behind the magnetic sheet), and hung it on the wall in my stampey room. It is so cute, and works perfectly for little notes or inspiration photos!

Where do you keep your notes or inspiration photos while you are crafting?
