Stampey Room: Thread Wall

I love this part of the room! I wanted to hang a thread holder on the wall (see previous post) so I found this one at Michael’s. Charlie attached it to the wall & made a frame around it. I added a collage around it with different findings.

I made this pin cushion from a picture frame I found at a garage sale for 50 cents! I used quilt batting & the same fabric used for my stool to create the cushion. I LOVE that I can hang it on the wall!

I’ve had this tiny shadowbox for a really long time & replaced it with a distressed flower made with Island Indigo Cardstock & Ink & an Antique Brad.

This has to be one of my favorite pieces in the room!! Who doesn’t love Barbie!?
I found some Barbie cards at Marshall’s 2 or 3 years ago & still had some, so I framed her in a frame from Walmart. I thought she matched my room perfectly & would look perfect within my collage. Isn’t her dress fabulous?!?!

Here I used a garage sale frame to display these Stampin’ Up! buttons in my room colors. I got the idea from one of the Stampin’ Up! catalogs.

The yellow frame is from Goodwill…cost 49 cents! Can’t beat that! I framed a bird punched form the Stampin’ Up! Bird Punch. Also, since the whole theme around my room is peacock colors, I found a cheap frame at Michael’s (actually after my coupons it cost less than 50 cents), and framed a couple of peacock feathers! What do you think!

Be sure to check back to see more!
