Stampey Room Shadow Box

For the past 4 days now, I have been working away in my stampey room trying to get things prepared for my open house on July 9th! Click here for more info on that!
I am very proud of myself at all I've accomplished this weekend! I've only stepped out of the house to walk Rex a couple times, take Charlie some dinner at work one night, and 2 quick, less than 1 hour trips to town with lovely.
I've gotten lots of sample cards, scrapbook pages, 3-D items & more made to show case, make & takes planned, and informational flyers designed!
One of the projects I wanted to showcase is a shadow box. I've seen so many cute shadow boxes made with Stampin' Up! products, my favorite being ones for every season. I started out wanting to make a "spring" shadow box like this one:

(I'm sorry I don't have a link back to the blog this came from. If it belongs to you or know where it came from please let me know & I will link back.)

Isn't this beautiful!! I started thinking & planning my shadow box in my head, and on a whim decided to make one that would match my stampey room. I started gathering colors & came up with the color palette that matches my room perfectly!! Always Artichoke, Island Indigo (brand new color available July 1st), Crumb Cake, Certainly Celery, Pool Party (brand new color available July 1st), Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquoise & a hint of Daffodil Delight along with the fabric I used to cover the sewing stool in my room. Once I put it together I couldn't believe how perfectly these colors match my already purchased decor for the room! So that "spring" shadow box turned into this:

Isn't it beautiful! But you've really GOT to see it in person!! It's so much prettier! Come by my open house on July 9th to see this & many more other projects!!
